Side By Side is not just the name of the new concert programme which Nigrita performs alone as well as with her trio; it is also the central message of her songs. Personal and social challenges can only be faced together, though individual reflexion is crucial.

Side By Side was premiered on November 10th, 2018 at the JazzIt club in Salzburg. The album of the same name has not yet been released. Here is an opportunity to listen to some of the unpublished material via Soundcloud and to be enchanted by Nigrita’s powerful songs.


„side by side“ ist der Beginn der neuen Serie „out of the blue“, mit der Nigrita ihre Tradition der Grenzüberschreitung zwischen Genres, Musikstilen und Veranstaltungsformaten fortsetzen will. „Tanzperformance und Gesang, Jazz und Klassik, Ausgelassenheit und Einkehr, alles liegt in meinem kreativen Schaffen ganz nah beinander.“

„side by side“ heisst nicht nur das neue Konzertprogramm, in welchem Nigrita mal solo, dann wieder mit ihrem Trio starke Signale auf die Bühne bringt. „side by side“ ist auch eine zentrale Botschaft der Lieder Nigritas: sowohl persönliche, als auch gesellschaftliche Herausforderungen können wir nur gemeinsam lösen, auch wenn die individuelle Reflexion unverzichtbar ist.

Das Konzertprogramm wurde am 10.11.2018 im jazzIT Salzburg uraufgeführt, das gleichnamige Album ist noch nicht publiziert.
